Somewhere in the chaos lies a needle. Holy Needle! is a quiet searching game. You get a pile of hay, straw, leaves, feathers or wood shavings — and a needle is somewhere in it. Clear the pile, handful by handful, until you find it. That's all there is. And that's the point. ◆ NO TIME PRESSURE There is no clock chasing you, no energy running out, and no waiting before you may play again. Search for as long as you like. Time is measured because some people want to know how fast they were — you cannot lose by it. ◆ A HUNDRED NEEDLES TO COLLECT A hundred different needles across five rarity tiers. None of them is a recolour of another: they differ in shape, material, head and tip. And none of them changes the game — they are there to be collected. On higher difficulties the rare ones show up far more often. ◆ HOLY CHARACTERS Ten animals in two packs, each unlocked with its own pin. Which pin lies in the pile depends on who is still missing from your collection — no duplicates. Finding a character pin does not end the search. Only the real needle does. ◆ FOURTEEN MATERIALS Hay, straw, dry grass, green grass, autumn leaves, twigs, pine needles, feathers, paper strips, wool threads, wood shavings, petals, forest floor and moss. Each looks different and sits differently in the pile. EASY uses the calm ones, HARD uses all of them. ◆ OUTFITS FOR THE ANIMALS Three sets that dress up your Holy Characters: SUNDAY BEST, WINTER and NIGHT SHIFT.
