Police, medevac & news helicopters live across the US, and who's circling you.
See police, air ambulance, news and fire helicopters flying across the US, live on one map. Then zoom into your own sky: who's circling your street, and for how long. LIVE ACROSS THE US • ADS-B equipped helicopters across the country on a live map, coloured by who flies them: police, air ambulance, fire, news, military, tour, utility. • Zoom out for the whole US, zoom in on any city. Circling helicopters stand out. • Tap one to see who operates it (a city police air unit, a hospital air ambulance, a TV station), its type, altitude, speed and distance. WHO'S CIRCLING • Heli Radar spots circling as it happens and shows how long it's been going on. • Several air ambulances and police helicopters converging on one spot usually means something bigger is going on, and you'll see it. ALERTS FOR YOUR HOME • Get a notification when a helicopter starts circling near Home or Work. Choose which classes: police and air ambulance only, or more. • Quiet hours, and a short weekly summary of your sky. YOUR SKY, YOUR HISTORY • Nearby: helicopters that crossed your place today, this week or the last 30 days. • Home screen widgets and a live notification with a circling timer. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • No account or sign-up. • Privacy-blocked (LADD/PIA) aircraft are never shown, and we never show names of private owners. IMPORTANT • Heli Radar is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by any police department, government agency, the FAA or any aircraft operator shown. • For information only. Not for emergency or safety use. In an emergency, call 911. • Positions come from the community ADS-B network (adsb.lol, ODbL). Helicopters without ADS-B, or flying where receivers are sparse, may not appear, and positions can lag. Heli Radar Pro unlocks live circling alerts, operator names, up to 5 places, 30-day history and widgets. Monthly, yearly or lifetime, no ads. Free users get the live map and delayed circling alerts for one place. Terms of Use: https://kovanapps.com/apps/heli-radar/terms/ Privacy Policy: https://kovanapps.com/apps/heli-radar/privacy-policy/
