Play Mozart, Bach and Satie with one finger. Step on time, the ground appears.
Rythmeu is a rhythm game where the ground only exists if you land on time. Four lanes, one line, fragments coming down. Strike at the exact moment a fragment touches the line and the station builds itself under your feet. Miss too many notes and your footing gives way — the station is lost, and you start it again. THE REPERTOIRE — twenty public-domain pieces Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, the Ode to Joy, Für Elise, Pachelbel's Canon, Gymnopédie No. 1, Greensleeves, The Blue Danube, the Turkish March, Vivaldi's Spring, the Toccata and Fugue in D minor, the Flight of the Bumblebee… Here the chart is not randomly generated: it IS the melody. Every fragment coming down is a real note at its real pitch — low on the left, high on the right. Playing on time means playing the piece. THE ASCENT — sixty-four stations Ten acts, from the ruin to the summit. Each act has its own light, its own particles and the timbre of your strikes. The tempo rises, eighth notes arrive, then notes to hold and two-finger chords. Three stars a station, and nothing you can buy. FOUR HONEST DIFFICULTIES From Gentle to Merciless. The bar you see is exactly the judgement window: the tighter it is, the thinner it gets. You read your tolerance instead of guessing it. FOR MUSICIANS The Workshop is a metronome that measures. Twelve exercises — quarter notes, triplets, 3-3-2 syncopation, son clave, seven-eight, three against four — and a bench to write your own patterns, export them as a code and share them. At the end of every session: your mean offset, your steadiness and your drift over time. The Notebook keeps the curve, session after session. YOUR OWN MUSIC The Listening analyses an audio file from your phone, detects the tempo to a hundredth of a BPM and draws a chart from it. The file never leaves the device. WHAT IS EARNED CANNOT BE BOUGHT Shards earned by playing are only good for cosmetics: the shape of the fragment, the trace of the step, the voice of your strike. They buy no star and no rank, and they never change the difficulty. ALSO · Blind mode: nothing comes down, you play from memory. · Microphone input: strike a real instrument, the game measures the timing. · An endless mode, one single chart a day, the same for everyone. · Forty-six marks to earn, fourteen ranks to climb. · Calibration measured on your real strikes, not guessed. · Haptics matched to each event. · Seven languages: French, English, Spanish, Portuguese, German, Italian and Turkish. Everything is kept on your device and nowhere else.
