TempMate turns your phone into a practical room thermometer. See the current indoor temperature and comfort level of any room, track how it changes over time, and connect Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) thermometers for live, measured readings. Honest by design: Measured vs. Estimated Most phones do not have a dedicated room-temperature sensor. TempMate never pretends otherwise. Phone-based readings are clearly labeled Estimated, and readings from a connected BLE thermometer are clearly labeled Measured. No exaggerated "always accurate" claims — you always know exactly what you are looking at. Frequently asked questions How accurate is the room temperature estimate? Most phones lack an ambient temperature sensor, so the estimate depends on your device. For the best result, leave your phone idle and flat for a few minutes, avoid charging, and use the calibration offset to match a known thermometer. Every estimate is labeled as Estimated. Can TempMate measure my body temperature? No. A smartphone cannot measure body temperature without dedicated hardware. TempMate only logs readings you enter or readings received from a connected BLE thermometer. Do I need a BLE thermometer? No. TempMate works as a room thermometer with the phone alone. BLE support is optional, for when you want real measured data. Is this a medical device? No. TempMate is a general comfort and temperature-tracking helper.
