Send local messages to your TV and set one-off reminders with your remote.
A little note, on the big screen. Local Notify TV lets nearby people send a manual message from a browser to your Android TV, and gives you simple reminders you can create with your remote. Turn on the receiver and scan its pairing code with a phone on the same local network. Enter a title and message, then send it now or choose a reminder delay. No dedicated phone app or account is required. Features: - Pair a phone or computer browser by scanning the TV's QR code - Send manual messages on the same local network - Schedule one-off reminders from your browser or TV - Create, edit and cancel reminders using your TV remote - Keep the latest 100 messages and up to 20 pending reminders on the TV - Clear message history without removing pending reminders - Choose four popup positions, three text sizes and three color themes - Show popups for 5, 10, 20 or 30 seconds - Enable an optional notification sound - Pause popups or set overnight quiet hours - Optional floating popups over other apps after Android authorization - Revoke old pairings by creating a new pairing link - Read the privacy policy and user agreement offline Messages and reminders remain on your TV. Paused or quiet messages save to history. When another app is open, floating popups need display-over-other-apps access; otherwise messages save to the inbox without a popup. Some apps and protected screens may hide overlays. Popups never take your remote's focus, and full message text stays in the inbox. The receiver must remain on and the TV awake for timely reminders. The app does not wake the TV or start automatically at boot. Reminders overdue by more than five minutes after an interruption are recorded as Missed. Use the TV's current clock and time zone. Pairing and sending use ordinary, unencrypted local HTTP. Use a trusted home network and keep the pairing link private. Both devices must be on the same reachable network; guest Wi-Fi isolation can prevent connection. This is a convenience utility, not a time-critical alarm system. No ads, purchases or subscriptions. No cloud relay, external remote connection, account login or automatic forwarding of phone notifications.
