Read the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908 (CPC) bare act, sections 1 to 158, arranged Part by Part, and test yourself with 100 multiple-choice questions written from the text of the sections. Made for UPSC, State Services Exam, MPSC, MPPSC, LLB and LLM students, judiciary and law exam aspirants, advocates, law clerks and anyone who needs to check what the Civil Procedure Code actually says. FIND ANY SECTION QUICKLY • Use "Go to §" to open a section by number, such as 9, 21A, 80 or 148A. • Search a phrase such as res judicata, caveat, mesne profits, restitution or inherent powers. Matching section titles come first, then every section where the words appear, ranked by how often they occur. • Narrow a search to one Part of the Code. READ THE CODE AS IT IS ARRANGED • Preliminary and Parts I to XI: Suits in general, Execution, Incidental proceedings, Suits in particular cases, Special proceedings, Supplemental proceedings, Appeals, Reference, review and revision, Special provisions relating to the High Courts, Rules, and Miscellaneous. • Each Part lists its sections under the headings printed in the Act, such as Place of suing, Arrest and detention, and Appeals from orders. • Sub-sections, clauses, provisos and explanations are set apart, so the part of a section you need is easy to find.
