Tradeistry is a practical field companion for tradespeople who need to organize, document and review their work. Build structured Jobs for service calls, repairs, installations, inspections, maintenance work and longer projects. Start with a Job Template for a defined workflow, or create an Ad Hoc Job when the work does not fit an existing template. Jobs can include: • Notes and observations • Checklists and required steps • Measurements and readings • Photos with optional GPS information • Materials and resources used • Equipment and vehicle usage • References and supporting information • Saved calculation results • Multiple work sessions for longer Jobs Required Job items are accountable without being rigid. If a required item cannot be completed, Tradeistry allows it to be bypassed with a recorded reason and explanation so the Job reflects what actually happened. Built-in trade calculations Tradeistry includes a broad collection of practical calculations covering areas such as general measurement, electrical work, plumbing and pipefitting, HVAC and refrigeration, mechanical work, carpentry and roofing, welding and fabrication, landscaping and sitework, concrete and masonry, and related field work. Calculations can be used independently or as part of a Job, and useful results can be saved with the Job for later review. The Version 1 calculation system is designed to operate locally and offline. Equipment and vehicle records Keep records for durable equipment and work vehicles, including identifying information, status, meter or mileage readings and maintenance history. Job usage can refer back to these assets while preserving the history of the work performed. Job history and export Review previous Jobs and search your saved work history. Completed Job information can be exported as a human-readable report or structured JSON, copied to the clipboard, or shared through your device to another compatible application or professional system. Tradeistry is designed so its core field workflow remains useful without a reliable Internet connection. Jobs, templates, calculation snapshots, equipment records, maintenance information and managed Job photos are stored locally on the device. Backup and restore Create portable backups containing your local Tradeistry database and managed Job photos, then restore them when needed. Backup files are controlled by you and can be saved or shared using your device. Tradeistry is designed to complement the systems you already use. It is not intended to replace employer work-order systems, CRM software, accounting systems, dispatch systems or other official business records. Whether you are an electrician, plumber, HVAC technician, mechanic, carpenter, welder, landscaper, maintenance worker or another field professional, Tradeistry provides a flexible workspace for doing the work and documenting what happened.
