Grab the wheel and open the throttle. Tide Racer puts you in a speedboat on busy rivers, racing through traffic in first person or from the chase camera. Weave past barges, ferries and fishing boats, skim close to other hulls for bonus points, and launch off wakes into the air. SIX WAYS TO RIDE - With current: race downstream with the traffic and chase a high score. - Against current: take the oncoming channel for extra points and coins, if you dare. - Time trial: race the clock and reach checkpoints to earn extra seconds. - Two-way trial: the same race against the clock, with boats coming the other way. - Free cruise and two-way cruise: no clock and no damage. Just you and the water. New modes open as you level up. FOUR RIVERS, THREE KINDS OF WEATHER Every run builds a fresh stretch of river, so no two rides are the same. - Reed Delta: forested banks, sandbars and drifting logs. - Mill Canal: narrow water between houses, stone bridges and lock gates. - Canyon Run: red rock, boulders and floating logs. - Harbor Mouth: ferries, container ships and a busy port. Ride each river in Sunny, Windy or Stormy conditions. Wind throws up swells and whitecaps, and storms bring rain, lightning and thunder. Unlock each river and weather with coins as you level up. Windy and Stormy rides pay extra coins. A 99-MISSION CAREER Follow one long journey of 99 missions, each with its own river, weather and traffic. Pass checkpoints before time runs out, cover a distance against the clock, pull off near misses, and build combos. Finish a mission to tick it off, and finish with time to spare to earn the bonus gems. Replay any mission you have opened whenever you like. 32 BOATS TO COLLECT Start in a humble skiff and work up to triple-engine offshore racers. Eight boat families, each with its own character: nimble skiffs, balanced bowriders, tough cabin cruisers, sturdy pontoons, sharp sport runabouts, grippy RIBs, wide catamarans and blazing offshore racers. UPGRADE AND PAINT Upgrade the engine, propeller, steering and hull plating on every boat. Choose from 12 paint jobs and see them on your boat before you buy. SCORE BIG - Close passes: thread the gap at speed and chain passes into combos. - Wake jumps: hit a wake and take to the air. - Oncoming bonus: ride against the traffic for extra points. Watch out for buoys, bridge pillars, logs and rocks. Every scrape costs hull. PLAY YOUR WAY - Steer by tilting your phone, swiping, or with on-screen buttons. - Switch between the first-person and chase cameras at any time. - Show your speed in km/h or knots. - Daily rewards, 17 achievements and your personal records give you something to aim for every day.
