Raw CAN 50k–1M via PCAN-USB or HS-CAN 500 via BT OBD, ID filter, TX, no login
CAN-View shows raw CAN traffic and sends CAN frames from your Android phone. Connect a paired Bluetooth OBD adapter (Serial Port Profile) or a wired PEAK-System PCAN-USB adapter through the phone's USB OTG port. Built for technicians and advanced users. Adapters Bluetooth OBD (STN / ELM327): high-speed CAN at 500 kbit/s over the OBD-II connector. Choose the adapter from bonded devices (Bluetooth permissions on Android 12+). PEAK-System PCAN-USB (wired, USB OTG): PCAN-USB, PCAN-USB FD, PCAN-USB Pro FD, PCAN-USB X6, PCAN-Chip USB. The adapter is detected automatically when plugged in. PCAN features Selectable bitrate: 1 Mbit/s, 800, 500, 250, 125, 100, 83.3 and 50 kbit/s (default 500 kbit/s). Listen-only mode: the adapter never transmits (no ACK, no error frames) and cannot disturb the bus. Hardware timestamps for accurate frame timing. CAN monitor Up to 8 pass filters by 11-bit CAN ID and mask, in hex or decimal. STN mode (OBDLink and compatible): filters are applied on the adapter (STFAP) on Connect and on each Start CAN monitor; Stop sends STFCP to clear pass filters. ELM327 fallback: ATMA monitoring with the same filter rule applied in the app. Log lines normalized as CAN_ID - hex bytes (e.g. 6F2 - 12 34 56 …). Transmit to CAN bus Several transmit commands: CAN ID (11-bit or 29-bit) and up to 8 data bytes. Periodic sending with a configurable period (from 10 ms on PCAN, from 100 ms on Bluetooth). Sent frames appear in the log marked TX, with a sent-frame counter. Log saving Save the session to the Downloads folder as a text report. Cycle time per CAN ID (min / avg / max / last), separately for received and sent frames. Frame table with time, direction (RX/TX), ID, interval and data bytes. Other Settings: light/dark theme, software license, privacy policy, about the app and company, version name. Splash screen with logo; no sign-in. Disclaimer The app does not decode proprietary OEM protocols or replace certified diagnostic equipment. Sending frames to the CAN bus can affect vehicle systems. Use the transmit function only if you understand the consequences; use listen-only mode for passive monitoring. Results depend on adapter firmware and vehicle wiring. Use only where legal and safe — do not use the app in a distracting way while driving. Requirements Android 8.0+. Bluetooth OBD adapter with SPP (classic Bluetooth), or a PEAK-System PCAN-USB family adapter plus a USB OTG cable/adapter and a phone with USB host support. © 2026 Mondial Auto Service Corp (MASCorp Diagnostics).
