Most light meters show a number and forget it. LuxPlan measures the light where you are with the camera — and keeps the reading.
LUX LOG — WHAT OTHER LIGHT METERS DROP
Point the camera, tap record, and the reading is saved with its time and an optional note ("desk", "hallway"). The log shows every reading, how many you took today, and the average — so you can compare this corner with that one, or this morning with last night.
WHAT YOU GET
• Camera lux meter — reads the room's brightness from the camera's exposure, in lux or foot-candles. No photo is taken, saved, or uploaded.
• Lux Log — every reading kept with its time and note, newest first, with a brightness bar to compare at a glance
• Lux guide — what the number means: 500-750 lx for study and reading, 300-500 lx for a desk or kitchen counter, and where starlight (0.001 lx) and direct sun (100,000 lx) sit
• Today's summary — how many readings today, and the average across them
• CSV export — take every reading with you
• Calibration — nudge the reading to match a reference meter, because phone cameras differ
• Works offline — no account, nothing uploaded
HONEST ABOUT LIMITS
Camera-based readings vary between devices and depend on where you point the phone, so LuxPlan is a practical meter, not a laboratory instrument — and it lets you calibrate. If the camera is unavailable you can type a value by hand.
NO ACCOUNT, NO CLOUD
Everything stays on the device. There is no sign-in and nothing is uploaded.
Free keeps up to 12 saved readings. LuxPlan Pro removes the limit. One-time purchase. No subscription, no ads.
