KnoxTrack SRL's SOS Protection lets you voluntarily activate tracking of your own phone and request help from your configured contacts. It is intended for people over 18 years of age. SETUP To use the tracking, you need a device registered with your GPS provider and to configure its identifier in the app. The app does not automatically register the device. Configure your local PIN and grant the permissions required for the protection. PROTECTION AND ALERTS While protection is active, the app transmits location via HTTPS, even in the background, and maintains a visible notification with the option to Stop without PIN. To request SOS, active protection and a recent location are required. You can configure Telegram contacts and check the status communicated by the service. The SMS channel is a pilot feature that requires specific activation for each installation and is subject to a limited testing budget; it is not generally available. Its activation is not guaranteed. The GPS platform may apply its own configured notifications. OPTIONAL OPTIONS You can choose to save data based on activity and resume data after a restart. Both options require your selection and depend on system permissions. Resuming does not automatically send an SOS. The widget requires unlocking the phone and does not automatically activate tracking. LIMITATIONS Performance depends on Android, battery life, connection speed, and carriers. Acceptance of a request by the server does not confirm delivery or a response from a contact. SOS Protection does not guarantee assistance and is not a substitute for public emergency services. HTTPS does not constitute end-to-end encryption. Privacy: https://mivehiculo360.com/proteccion-sos/privacidad Support: Joelvin@knoxtrack.com
