Build a real sense of minutes and hours through playful comparisons.
Is 30 minutes longer than 1 hour? What time is 25 minutes after 3:10? Time Detective turns duration into something children can see, move, and compare. It is designed for kindergarten and early elementary learners who have begun to read clocks but still need a practical feeling for how long minutes and hours are. FIVE WAYS TO LEARN • Which Is Longer? — compare two durations • Time Order — arrange cards from shortest to longest • Start and Finish — work out elapsed time • Everyday Time Quiz — connect time with familiar routines • Timeline — stretch and compare time on a clear visual line LEARNING WITHOUT PRESSURE Questions begin with 5, 15, and 30 minutes and 1 hour. Later challenges include “25 minutes from now,” time across an hour, and 90-minute intervals. There are no countdowns, leaderboards, or streak penalties. A first mistake brings a gentle hint; the next hint shows the duration on a clock or timeline. FOR FAMILIES AND EDUCATORS Create up to four local learner profiles, choose a starting level, review progress by skill, and add optional custom everyday activity cards. A custom card can include a photo selected with the system photo picker. PRIVATE BY DESIGN The app works offline and has no ads, analytics, or account system. Learning data is stored locally. Optional backup uses the user’s private cloud storage. Records can be exported or imported as JSON, CSV, or a ZIP that may include custom-card images. This is a one-time paid app. There are no extra purchases.
