Sharper, smoother graphics: planets, moons and the Sun are drawn at a much higher resolution with cleaner edges, and the app runs faster, especially in the Sun view. Fixes and improvements.
3D solar system map: every planet and moon where it is today. Fly 18 missions.
Explore the solar system in 3D, exactly as it is today. Orrery is a live 3D solar system map and planetarium for your phone. Every planet, moon, dwarf planet and comet is placed from NASA JPL's data, turning and tilted as it really is. Spin a planet under your finger, pinch to fly out to Mars, Jupiter or Saturn, and run time forward or back by centuries. SOLAR SYSTEM, LIVE • The Sun, eight planets, their moons, dwarf planets, Vesta and Halley's Comet, placed where they are right now • Real surfaces from spacecraft maps: MESSENGER, Viking, Cassini, New Horizons and more • Saturn's rings, Earth's clouds and city lights, eclipses and moon shadows • A living Sun with sunspots, flares and eruptions that follow the real solar cycle • Orbit tours and orbit paths for every planet and moon SPACE MISSIONS Follow 18 real spacecraft along their true paths, with the photographs they took: Voyager 1 and 2, Apollo 11, Artemis, Cassini, Juno, Perseverance, Parker Solar Probe, the James Webb Space Telescope, New Horizons and more. INSIDE THE PLANETS Open up 16 worlds to see their cores, mantles and oceans, drawn to scale. SOUNDS OF SPACE Real recordings from spacecraft: the Sun, Jupiter, Saturn, Earth's magnetic chorus and more. LAND ON THE MOON, MARS AND EARTH • Stand on the Moon and Mars in 3D terrain, and look down on Earth in NASA Landsat satellite imagery • Earth's magnetic field, pressed by the solar wind • How the solar system travels through the Milky Way, and the bubble that shields it FREE TO EXPLORE No account needed. The whole solar system is free, with a taste of every deeper view. Orrery Pro unlocks every mission, interior, sound, the 3D surfaces, the galaxy view and Ultra graphics: yearly with a one-week free trial, monthly, or once for life, and it removes the ads. The free version shows a few ads (at most one full-screen ad a session, and an optional ad to try a Pro feature once). Available in English, Español, Português, Français, Русский, 中文 and Oʻzbekcha.
