First release. • Basic, scientific, programmer and statistics modes • Seven-segment display, 10 to 40 digits, with expression history • Unit converter across fourteen kinds of measurement • Twelve finance calculators, from discounts to loan EMIs • Currency converter at current rates • An operations guide explaining every key • Dark and light, and 13 languages
A calculator that looks and works like the real thing, with converters.
Nessaid Calculator is styled like a hardware calculator — a seven-segment LCD, an annunciator strip, keys that do what their legends say — with a set of converters and finance tools behind it. FOUR CALCULATORS • Basic, for everyday arithmetic • Scientific: trigonometry, logarithms, powers and roots, permutations and combinations, in degrees, radians or grads, shown in normal, fixed, scientific or engineering form • Programmer: hexadecimal, decimal, octal and binary, bitwise AND, OR, XOR, NOT and shifts, with a word size you choose • Statistics: enter data points and read back the mean, the standard deviations and the sums A DISPLAY THAT TELLS YOU WHAT IT IS DOING The glass carries the expression you are building, the seven-segment answer, and the annunciator strip along the top. Every legend a mode can light is printed there whether it is lit or not, so a faint DEG means degrees are not selected rather than that the label is missing. Choose 10, 15, 20 or 40 digits, and step back through earlier expressions with one key. A UNIT CONVERTER Length, mass, temperature, area, volume, time, speed, angle, data, force, pressure, energy, power and torque. TWELVE FINANCE CALCULATORS Percentages, discount, margin and markup, simple and compound interest, EMI, SIP, lumpsum, CAGR and GST — the everyday money questions, each with its own form. A CURRENCY CONVERTER Today's rates, fetched when you ask and dated on screen so you know what they are. AN OPERATIONS GUIDE, IN THE APP What each key does, how operations are sequenced, and what the display is telling you — including the parts of a calculator nobody ever explains. MORE • Dark and light • 13 languages: English, Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Hindi, Indonesian, Japanese, Malayalam, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish and Turkish • No account, no sign-in, and nothing to set up The app is free and shows one banner, above the keypad and never under it, plus an occasional full-screen ad on the way back from the guide. The internet is used for the currency rates and for those ads, and for nothing else.
