Practice typing with the characters of Touhou. Touhou Typing is a mobile typing game you play alongside the characters of Touhou. Most prompts are everyday words, with Touhou residents and places mixed in now and then, so you can build accuracy one word at a time with Reimu, Marisa, and friends. ■ A KEYBOARD MADE FOR PHONES The Japanese mode uses an in-game flick keyboard with the same layout as a phone's Japanese input. Predictive text and autocorrect can't interfere, and every stroke, including dakuten and small kana, is judged directly. English mode switches to QWERTY and English prompts. ■ 54 SPELL CARD BATTLES 18 chapters and 54 stages, starting with Reimu. Type a few words with each character, then finish with their Spell Card's name. Run out of time and you take a hit; three hits and you lose. Each clear opens the next stage and chapter. Ranks reward accuracy rather than speed, so you can stay precise on screens of any size. ■ FOUR DIFFICULTIES, STARTING WITH VERY EASY Very Easy, Easy, Normal, and Hard. Very Easy has no time limit and shorter words. Ranks and records are kept separately for each difficulty. ■ TODAY'S WORDS Take on the day's shared set of 10 words and keep your streak going. ■ 60-SECOND SCORE ATTACK Type a continuous stream of words and chase your best score without worrying about lives. ■ TYPING TEST Type 15 words and take a grade decided by accuracy alone: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, or Master. Nothing is timed, so you can go at your own pace. ■ PASS-AND-PLAY TWO-PLAYER BATTLE Player 1 takes a turn, then hands the device to Player 2. Both type the same 10 words, and higher accuracy wins. No account or network required. ■ TYPING STATS Check your typing speed (keys per minute), accuracy, and weak keys. Misses are grouped by kana row in Japanese and by finger in English. ■ COLLECT AND CUSTOMIZE Every Touhou word you finish is added to your Word Book. Choose a favorite character as your partner, highlight the next key, turn on auto dakuten, or switch on Night Mode. Game records are stored only on your device and are not sent elsewhere. This game contains banner, interstitial, and rewarded video ads. Interstitial ads never appear while you are typing, only when you leave the typing screen. Rewarded videos play only after you press a reward button. This is an unofficial Touhou Project fan work based on Team Shanghai Alice.
