Log a fill-up in about ten seconds and the app works out your real MPG, your cost per mile, and how far you land from the official EPA rating for your exact model. WHAT IT DOES Real gas mileage, tank by tank Enter the odometer, the volume and the price. The app calculates MPG from full tank to full tank, the way it should be done: it adds up the distance and the fuel and then divides, instead of averaging a column of numbers. Your car against its EPA rating Match your car once, by year, make, model and trim, and the app pulls the official combined rating from fueleconomy.gov. From then on every average is shown against the sticker, with what the gap costs you over a year of driving. Most cars land below it. Now you know by how much, and whether it is normal.
