The begining in studying Japanese. Study the Hiragana and Katakana in one app.
Thinking about learning Japanese? When I attended Japanese classes, I realized how helpful it was to become familiar with Hiragana and Katakana before moving on to grammar and conversation. Just as reading English is difficult without knowing its alphabet, learning Japanese becomes easier when you can recognize its characters. If unfamiliar characters have kept you from getting started, try Japanese Study. The app makes it easy to learn Hiragana and Katakana together. With one tap, you can switch from a Hiragana character to its matching Katakana character and back again. See each character, listen to its pronunciation, and practice writing it yourself. Features 1. Letter study Explore characters one at a time. Follow the stroke-order guide, listen to the pronunciation, and practice writing on the screen. 2. Row study Learn characters together in rows following the a, i, u, e, o pattern. Study their order and sounds, then select a character to hear or write it. 3. Kana chart Browse Hiragana and Katakana, including basic, voiced, and semi-voiced sounds. Tap any character to open its study screen. 4. Practice Choose Hiragana, Katakana, or both. Check pronunciations with multiple-choice questions, then use writing practice to review what you have learned. Try studying for 30 minutes a day and build a strong foundation for your next step in Japanese. The more you see, hear, and write the characters, the more familiar they will become.
