Welcome to Numa 🌙 Parents shouldn't have to pay for another app! • 18 gentle sounds • Sleep timer with a gentle fade-out • Keeps playing in the background, with lock-screen controls • Favorites and dark mode • Works offline Always free. No ads. No subscriptions. No account.
Baby sleep sounds made simple. Free, offline, and always ad-free.
Numa plays soft, steady sounds to help your baby settle. Pick a sound, press play and put the phone down. We made it because we couldn't find a baby sound app that wasn't full of ads or asking for a subscription. Numa is free, with nothing to unlock and no ads. You don't need an account, and it works without an internet connection. There are 19 sounds: • White, pink and brown noise • Heartbeat and Womb (a warm, muffled sound inspired by what a baby hears before birth) • Fan, hair dryer, vacuum and washing machine • Car ride, train and a distant city at night • Rain, ocean, running water, wind and night (crickets and frogs) • Lullabies and humming Each one loops without a gap or a click, so it can run all night. Sound keeps playing when the screen is off or you switch to another app, and you can pause or stop it from the lock screen. Set a sleep timer from 15 minutes up to 8 hours and the sound fades out slowly at the end rather than cutting off. You can save favorites, find recently played sounds quickly, and the app follows your phone's dark mode so it won't light up the room in the middle of the night. Numa doesn't collect any personal data and doesn't ask for access to your location, microphone or contacts. It doesn't even use the internet. Please keep the volume low and place your phone away from where your baby sleeps, not in the cot or crib. Numa is a sound app, not a medical device, and it doesn't replace safe-sleep advice from your health visitor or doctor. Sleep well.
