Messages brings your SMS text messages and phone calls together in one simple app. Two clear tabs, Inbox and Calls, let you read a text, see who called and reply in a tap. No more jumping between a texting app and a call log. Phone Calls and Call History The Calls tab shows your call history grouped by Today and Yesterday, with your favourite people first. Missed calls stand out in red, and contact names appear instead of plain numbers. Tap the call button to call back, or open a contact to see more. Call Insights Open any contact to see their call insights at a glance: total calls, incoming calls, outgoing calls and missed calls, plus the full call history with that person. After Call Screen Take action the moment a call ends. Call back, send a follow up text or open a recent conversation without switching apps. Themes and Dark Mode Give each conversation its own colour from 12 chat themes and see a live preview before you save. Switch between light mode, dark mode or your phone's system setting. SMS Text Messaging Text anyone in your contacts or type a number. Share photos and contact cards inside the chat. Texts go over your mobile network, so you can text without Wi-Fi or mobile data. Scheduled Text Messages Plan birthday wishes, reminders and updates in advance. Pick later today, tonight, tomorrow or any date and time. A Tidy, Private Inbox Bank alerts, offers and verification codes are sorted into tabs, so the texts that matter are never buried. Pin or archive chats, star messages, block unwanted numbers and lock private chats with a pattern. Permissions, explained • SMS: to send, receive and show your text messages when Messages is your default SMS app. • Phone and call log: to show your recent calls, call insights and the after call screen. • Contacts: to show names instead of plain numbers.
