OrisPrivate is the web browser for Google TV that keeps what you do on your TV to yourself. It blocks trackers and ads, can wipe your data every time you exit, saves your passwords encrypted and locks your history and private tabs with a PIN. Everything works with just your TV remote. PRIVACY FIRST • Tracker blocking: websites stop following you from page to page. On by default. • Clear data on exit: history, cookies and cache disappear every time you leave the app. • PIN lock: nobody else at home can see your history, your private tabs or your saved passwords. • Incognito tabs: nothing is saved to history and their cookies and cache are kept apart and deleted when you close them. • HTTPS-only mode to always open the secure version of websites. • No account, no sign-in, no sync, no analytics. Nothing leaves your TV. PASSWORDS, SAFELY ON YOUR TV • OrisPrivate offers to save the password when you sign in to a website. • Next time, your username and password are filled in for you: no more typing with the remote. • Passwords are encrypted with a key from the Android Keystore and never leave the device. • Review and delete saved passwords in Settings, behind your PIN. BUILT FOR THE REMOTE • Cursor mode: move a pointer with the D-pad and press OK anywhere, just like a mouse. • Link mode: the D-pad jumps from one link or button to the next, faster on simple sites. • Hold OK or press Menu to open the browser menu: address bar, tabs, bookmarks and settings. • Switch modes from the menu, or with Play/Pause if your remote has it. CLEANER, FASTER PAGES • Built-in ad and pop-up blocker, working entirely on your TV. • See how many ads and trackers were blocked on each page. YOUR SITES, ONE CLICK AWAY • Pin your favourite sites to the home screen. • Bookmarks and history, with time-based clearing: last 30 minutes, 24 hours, 7 days or all time. • Search with DuckDuckGo, Google, Bing, Brave Search, Ecosia or Startpage, or use voice search. COMFORTABLE ON A BIG SCREEN • Full-screen videos with the site's own player. • Night mode for websites, adjustable text size and page zoom. • Desktop version for sites that don't work well in mobile view. • Screen margin setting for TVs that cut off the edges of the picture. • Up to 8 tabs open at once.
