About this app
Secure 2FA codes with folders, Google Authenticator import and encrypted backup
Read full description
Otpkey Authenticator adds a second layer of security to your online accounts. It generates one-time passwords (OTP) for two-factor authentication (2FA / MFA) right on your device, even when you are offline. It works with the services you already use — Google, Microsoft, Amazon, AWS, GitHub, GitLab, Facebook, Instagram, Dropbox, Slack, PayPal, Cloudflare and many more — and with any service that supports the standard TOTP or HOTP protocols. NEW IN 5.0 • Folders — group your accounts (Work, Personal, …) and move them with one tap • Import from Google Authenticator — scan the export QR code and bring all your accounts over at once • Search across all folders • File backup and restore to a folder of your choice, compatible with OTPKEY for iOS and macOS • Refreshed account list, passcode screen and service logos KEY FEATURES • Add accounts by scanning a QR code or entering the key manually • Export an account as a QR code to move it to another device • Passcode lock with biometric unlock • Hide codes until you tap them • Auto hide the screen after 2 minutes of inactivity • Light, Dark and Auto modes • Phone and tablet layouts SECURITY & BACKUP • Every backup is encrypted (PEM format) • Optional Google backup for restoring on a new phone • Codes are hidden from the clipboard preview and from the recent apps screen SPECIFICATIONS • Type: Time-based (TOTP) and counter-based (HOTP) • Algorithm: SHA-1, SHA-256, SHA-512 • Digits: 4 – 10 • Period: 30 or 60 seconds STANDARDS • TOTP: Time-Based One-Time Password Algorithm (RFC 6238) • HOTP: HMAC-Based One-Time Password Algorithm (RFC 4226)
