For shots that must line up. Get the framing right as you shoot, not later.
One shot per city, same pose - it would make something worth watching later, you thought. Back home the angles differ, the distances differ, and the twelve never line up. This app lays your last shot over the viewfinder and tells you when the framing matches. You are not fixing it later in an editor. You get it right as you shoot. Not only travel - a child growing, a body changing, a building site, a view from a window. ■ A ghost and four words The last frame sits faintly on screen. When you are off it says one word — "Move left", "Step closer". When you are there it says "Shoot now". No numbers: nobody moves their body by 3.4%. ■ The reference stays put Shooting does not change it. If it drifted a little each month, twelve months later it would look nothing like the first one — that drift is exactly what this app exists to stop. ■ You choose what must match If the background stays, box a piece of wall. If the background changes (same pose, new country), box the subject instead. Only that box is used to line things up. ■ Sets Your child's height, the view out the window, a plant — each is its own set, with its own reference. ■ Make a video Turn the set into one video. A dial sets how long each photo stays, and if you only have ten photos it loops them to fill the length you asked for. GIF works too. ■ The photos are yours · No internet permission. Not "we don't send" — we cannot. · No account. No login. No ads. · Photos live in your gallery's "Align Camera" folder and stay there even if you uninstall. ■ Permissions · Camera — on first launch. Without it there is no screen. · Microphone — only when you first pick video. Decline and it records silently. · Location — off by default. Asked only when you switch on the "place" chip; when on, the coordinates are written inside the photo (the same thing Google Photos uses for its map). You can switch it off again. Built for myself. It turned out useful enough to share.
