Seafarer app for your documents, voyages and software familiarisation
Simatech Pulse is the mobile app for seafarers who sail with companies using the Simatech Pulse ship management system. It keeps your profile, documents and training in your pocket, whether you are at home or on board. FOR CREW • Home at a glance – see whether you are on board or ashore, your vessel, rank and sign-on details, and how many of your documents are valid, expiring or expired. • Documents and certificates – view your passport, seaman's book, visas, licences, certificates and medical records with their expiry dates. Upload renewals directly from your phone so the office can verify them. • Voyages – your voyage history with vessel, rank, contract dates, joining and sign-off ports, and sign-off reasons. • Profile – your personal details, sea service and time in rank in one place. • Software familiarisation – step-by-step flowcharts and short videos that show how to use the Simatech Pulse modules on board (Supplies, PMS, Vessel and more), chosen for your rank. Watch each video, confirm you have understood it and track your progress. Reference guides open straight from the app. FOR NEW SEAFARERS • Apply for a position – create your application, fill in your details and upload your documents, certificates and medical records from your phone. WHY SIMATECH PULSE • Always up to date – the app works with your company's live Simatech Pulse system, so what you see is what the office sees. • Fewer emails and paperwork – renew and upload documents yourself instead of sending scans. • Ready to join – finish your software familiarisation before you join the vessel. GETTING STARTED Crew members sign in with the user ID and password provided by their company. New seafarers can apply for a position from the sign-in screen; your username and password are sent to your registered email. Simatech Pulse is intended for seafarers and applicants of companies that use the Simatech Pulse system.
