AQA GCSE maths revision: Foundation questions, practice papers & worked answers.
GCSE Maths Foundation practice and revision for students working towards AQA Mathematics (8300). Choose a topic, try a question, check the worked explanation and return to the parts that need another attempt. Free samples include practice questions and flashcards; full papers, timed checks, written self-check and the wrong-answer review notebook require Premium access.
PRACTISE BY TOPIC
Work through original practice questions organised around Foundation maths topics. The app includes work in Number, Algebra, Ratio, proportion and rates of change, Geometry and measures, Probability, and Statistics. Choose a topic when you want a focused session, or mix questions when you want to revisit more than one area. This is study practice, not a copy of an exam paper.
CHECK YOUR WORKING
For supported questions, enter an answer and read the explanation after checking it. Some tasks ask for an exact number or expression, so the result depends on the mathematical answer rather than a rounded guess. Drawings and charts in the app are learning aids created for the question. Use the feedback to spot where your method changed course and try again.
REVIEW MISTAKES
Return to questions you answered incorrectly and focus on areas that need attention. Review cards and flashcards offer another way to revisit facts and methods. Fit GCSE maths revision into shorter sessions and pick up your progress later on the same device.
TIMED PRACTICE
Choose a short mixed practice check or a 90-minute original full practice paper. Full papers keep your own answers separate from the worked solutions until you finish or the timer expires. Afterwards, compare your method with mathematical criteria and record your own marks. These are self-assessments, not verified exam scores or predicted grades. Calculator and non-calculator papers are labelled so you can practise with the appropriate tools.
WRITTEN SELF-CHECK
For selected reasoning, proof or paper construction tasks, save your own written method before comparing it with a reference and a checklist. The checklist is for self-review. It does not automatically award exam marks or assess the quality of a full written solution.
MADE FOR FOUNDATION STUDY
This app focuses on AQA GCSE Mathematics 8300 Foundation tier, which AQA describes as grades 1–5. Foundation study spans six subject areas and three written papers. This app offers original topic practice and full practice papers across those areas. It does not claim complete coverage of every specification point or predict a GCSE grade. Available activities and access are shown in the app before use.
A SIMPLE STUDY ROUTINE
Start with a topic that feels uncertain, write down or enter your answer, then compare your method with the worked feedback. If you missed the question, return to it during review and try the method again without looking. Use the cards for recall between question sessions. For a longer session, work through a full practice paper, then use its saved answers and criteria to decide which topics to revisit.
INDEPENDENT STUDY AID
PassNote is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or published by AQA. AQA and GCSE names identify the course this app helps you study for. Questions, diagrams, explanations and self-check prompts are original practice material; they do not reproduce AQA paper items.
