BUILT FOR THE WARD, NOT THE DESK • Works completely offline — no connection needed at any point • The infusion rate is the largest thing on screen • Switch the correction period between 6, 12 and 24 hours; the rate updates instantly • Share a calculated regime with a colleague WHAT IT CALCULATES • Maintenance fluid — Holliday-Segar • Deficit correction — weight × % dehydration, over your chosen period • Shock boluses, including the reduced dose for cardiac patients • Oral rehydration volumes (ORS) • Age-based reference vital signs — SBP, heart rate, respiratory rate • Dehydration classification, with Plan A / Plan B guidance SAFETY • Weight is bounded and checked against expected weight-for-age. Values well outside the expected range must be explicitly confirmed before any result is produced. • Neonates under 1 month are out of scope, and the app says so rather than guessing. • Every result carries the cautions that apply — cardiac and renal disease, severe malnutrition, hypernatraemia, symptomatic hyponatraemia.
