Sound Meter & Decibel Meter turns your phone into a sound level meter. Measure noise in decibels anywhere: at home, at work, in a classroom, at a concert, on the street or next to a motorcycle. No ads, no tracking, nothing collected. A big needle gauge and a large dB(A) number show the level live, with the average (AVG), minimum and maximum for the session. A plain-language reference tells you what the level means — 70 dB is a busy restaurant, 90 dB a motorcycle — and the colored level bar shows at a glance when noise gets harmful. ABOUT ACCURACY Phone microphones are tuned for the human voice, and most cut off very loud sounds above about 100 dB. For better results, calibrate the app once against a real sound level meter.
