Why Privacy Display Screen Guard?
Stop strangers from seeing your screen in public
Keep sensitive work or personal information secure
Keep private notifications out of sight
Keep kids from tapping out of apps
Screen Cover
A foreground protection service draws the cover over your screen. Choose 4 colors and set the opacity from 10 to 100. Full, Full layer, and Partial covers are free, while Double, Rectangle, and Circle covers unlock with a rewarded ad or Pro. Tilt your phone to trigger the cover.
Hide Alerts
Choose which apps you want to keep quiet. Their notifications are dismissed automatically and stored in an encrypted log in the app, where you can read or clear them whenever you like.
Auto-hide Apps
Select your sensitive apps and the cover shows automatically whenever one of them opens. Keyboards and system apps are ignored.
Child Lock
Lock touch input for 15, 30, 60, or 120 minutes, with a floating button on screen. Unlock by tapping a secret corner 2, 3, or 5 times, with an optional PIN. Set the duration, corner, taps, and unlock method to suit you.
Permissions We Use and Why
Accessibility Service API: Used only for the Auto-hide Apps feature. The service reads only the package name of the app currently in front, so the app knows when to show your cover over a protected app. Android offers no other way to detect the foreground app. It never reads screen content, and it does not collect, store, or share any personal or sensitive data. Nothing leaves your device. The service is optional, is turned on only with your explicit consent, and can be disabled anytime in Settings > Accessibility. All other features work without it.
Notification Access: Used only for Hide Alerts, to dismiss notifications from the apps you pick and keep them in an encrypted log on your device.
Display over other apps: Needed to show the screen cover and the Child Lock button above other apps.
Turn it on, tilt your device, and instantly block your screen from anyone around you. Download Privacy Display Screen Guard today and take control of your screen privacy.
