About this app
Oral care app to support you for 12 weeks after blue radical treatment
Read full description
An app that visualizes the current state of periodontal disease. Perimil is a patient-specific oral care app that supports patients for 12 weeks after Blue Radical treatment. The real start is the day you receive treatment. Continued post-treatment oral care is crucial. ■ Links with Blue Radical P-01 This app works with the Blue Radical P-01, a non-surgical periodontal treatment device that has undergone clinical trials and received medical device approval. Visualizes changes in oral condition Records post-treatment self-care Continued support for 12 weeks Combining a dental approach (Blue Radical P-01) with a patient behavior support approach (Perimil), it supports the critical period after treatment. ■ Recommended for: Those diagnosed with periodontal disease Those who want to continue care after Blue Radical treatment Those who want to understand the condition of their mouth Those who want to continue care while connected with their dental clinic ■ Main Features ● Visualize oral condition See changes before and after treatment at a glance. ● Message from a Dental Hygienist Receive personalized advice. ● 12-Week Support Program Our official mascot, Peri-chan, will cheer you on every day. ● Self-Care Recording Feature Easily record your daily care routine, including toothbrushing, interdental brushing, and flossing. ■ Social Recognition This project received the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare Award at the 8th Japan Open Innovation Awards. In collaboration with the Tohoku University Graduate School of Dentistry, we are promoting everything from research and development to social implementation. The project has been highly praised for its focus on supporting patients' self-care. ■ What is Periodontal Disease? Periodontal disease is a very common oral disease, with an estimated 11 million severe cases in Japan. If it progresses, it can lead to tooth loss, and its association with systemic diseases such as diabetes has also been noted. For this reason, continued oral care is important even after treatment. ■ Our Future Aim Creating people who "can't help but brush their teeth." We aim to reduce periodontal disease and contribute to extending healthy life expectancy in Japan. Perimill is the first step in that effort.
