Accessibility API Disclosure ShotLock uses the Android AccessibilityService API to detect when you open apps that you have selected for monitoring. This allows the app to enforce the ShotLock shield screen when you try to open another app when its time for your injection. ShotLock uses AccessibilityService only for its core focus features: • Detecting when a selected gated app is opened • Redirecting the user to the ShotLock shield screen until they log their scheduled injection. ShotLock does not use AccessibilityService to read private messages, capture passwords, collect typed text, access financial information, or monitor unrelated activity outside the focus features you enable.
