Make your own pottery in 3D. Center the clay on the pottery wheel, pull it into a vase, bowl or cup, fire it in the kiln, then glaze and decorate it the way you like. Pottery Studio is a calm, hands-on ceramics studio on your phone, with no mess to clean up. SHAPE CLAY ON THE POTTERY WHEEL • Choose your clay: terracotta, soft sand, porcelain, dark stoneware or warm umber • Start from a lump of clay, cylinder, bowl, vase or wide pot • Drag on the spinning clay to widen, narrow, raise and smooth it • Use the Shape, Smooth, Height, Width and Trim tools, with undo and redo FIRE IT IN THE KILN • Watch your piece glow as it fires • Pick a firing style: classic, raku, crackle or wood ash • Quick firing finishes right away; slow firing takes a little longer and can send you a notification when your piece is ready GLAZE AND DECORATE • Matte, soft satin and glossy glazes in many colors • Glaze effects: dip, drips and ombré • Painted bands with patterns such as chevron, triangles, lattice and petals • Stickers you can place, size and turn • Free brushwork right on the pot FINISH AND COLLECT • Name your piece, stamp it with your own maker's mark, and show it in different scenes: studio, gallery, linen, shelf and morning • Keep every piece on your My Pottery shelf, with search and favourites • Turn and zoom any piece in 3D • Share pictures of your work • View a piece in your own room with AR (on supported devices) • Make turntable and making-of videos, or export a 3D model (STL) for printing DAILY POTTERY IDEAS • See today's top creations: a fresh set of designs every day • Look at any piece in 3D and remix it to make it your own LEARN POTTERY WHILE YOU PLAY • Short lessons on centring, pulling walls, classic forms, rims and handles, firing and glazing • Shape challenges with a target form and up to three stars • Complete challenges and make pieces to unlock new glazes, patterns, stickers and scenes • Achievements to collect along the way MADE TO RELAX Pottery Studio is designed to be slow and soothing. OPTIONAL POTTERY HOME If you like, you can set Pottery Home as your phone's home screen. It's optional, you can skip it, and you can switch back to your previous home screen at any time in your phone's settings. FREE WITH ADS, OR PREMIUM Pottery Studio is free to download and play, with ads. Some extras unlock as you make pieces and complete challenges. Pottery Premium is an optional subscription that removes ads and unlocks every glaze, pattern, sticker, effect and scene, plus AR, video and 3D model export. A free trial may be offered for new subscribers. After any trial, the subscription renews automatically at the price shown in the app until you cancel.
