Generator Sizing Calculator provides an offline planning estimate for running load, one motor's starting kVA, environmental derating, and fuel use. The result uses simplified factors for motor-starting contribution, reserve, site derating, and fuel consumption. It is not a code-compliant sizing result or a minimum generator rating. It does not model load sequence, transient voltage or frequency response, or manufacturer-specific engine and alternator limits. Use the estimate as a starting point only. Confirm the load-step study, generator ratings at site conditions, and fuel curve with the selected generator manufacturer and a qualified professional.
