Real Food Budapest

Real Food Budapest is an online marketplace for local food. We source meat, produce and pantry staples from carefully selected Budapest-area producers, consolidate them overnight in our own refrigerated cross-dock warehouse, and deliver them the next day in our refrigerated vans. One basket, many producers — and every order supports a local business directly. WHAT YOU'LL FIND • Meat cut to order by the butchers of HúsSpecialista — ask for slices, cubes, strips or deboning and leave them a note with your order • Seasonal fruit and vegetables • Bread and pastry • Charcuterie, smoked goods, spices and small-batch specialities • Mangalica, dry-aged and imported steaks, lamb, game and fish HOW IT WORKS • Browse every producer in one shop — search, filter, save favourites • Order before the daily cutoff and pick a delivery day and time window that suits you • Pay with Google Pay or a bank card • Follow your order from confirmation to your doorstep WHEN SOMETHING CHANGES Real food comes from real producers, so now and then a crate does not arrive as planned. You will hear it from us, not discover it at the door: if something is short you get a message and choose what happens next — a replacement the producer suggests, or a refund. Nothing is swapped behind your back. BUILT FOR HOW YOU ACTUALLY SHOP • Hungarian and English throughout • Reorder in a tap from your order history • Message the team in the app about any order • Discount codes at checkout • Leave a review for what you bought, and read what others thought MEET THE PRODUCERS Every partner has a page: who they are, where they work and what they are known for. You are buying from a named baker and a named butcher, not an anonymous warehouse. We made our first delivery in 2024 with a single van. Prices are in forints and include VAT.
