About this app
Count the Instagram Reels you watch. Fully private, offline, no account needed.
You didn't mean to watch 200 Reels today. Reel Tracker shows you when it happens. Reel Tracker counts every Instagram Reel you scroll past and tracks how long you spend watching — quietly, in the background, with nothing leaving your phone. No judgement, no blocking, no lectures. Just the number you've never actually seen. WHAT IT DOES • Live Reel counter — a small floating pill shows your count while you scroll, and disappears the moment you leave Instagram • Daily goal — set a limit that feels honest, and get a gentle nudge when you reach it • Time watched — see the minutes, not just the swipes • Hour-by-hour breakdown — find out whether it's your lunch break or 1am that's costing you • Daily, weekly and monthly charts — watch the trend, not a single bad day • Reduction streaks — every day you scroll less than the day before adds to your streak BUILT TO BE PRIVATE Most screen-time apps ask you to hand over your habits. This one can't, by design. • No internet permission. The app literally cannot send data anywhere — not to us, not to anyone • No account, no sign-up, no email • No ads, no analytics, no third-party SDKs • Nothing is backed up to the cloud, not even your own Google Drive • Your stats live in a database on your phone. Uninstall the app and they're gone forever WHY IT NEEDS ACCESSIBILITY PERMISSION Android gives apps no other way to tell that you've scrolled to the next Reel. Reel Tracker uses the Accessibility Service to detect scroll gestures on Instagram's Reels screen, and only to count them. It reads the identifiers of on-screen elements to recognise the Reels screen. It never reads your messages, your captions, your comments, or the content of any other app — and it stores nothing except a number and a timestamp, on your device. You grant the permission yourself in Android Settings, and you can revoke it at any time. WHO IT'S FOR For anyone who has looked up from their phone and wondered where forty minutes went. For people trying to cut back without deleting the app entirely. For anyone curious what the real number looks like. Awareness first. The rest tends to follow. Requires Instagram to be installed. Currently tracks Instagram Reels only.
