Your camera stays in position. You stay in control. Remote Shutter is the controller for a second phone running Remote Camera. See your framing, take a photo, or start and stop a video from the phone in your hand. Ideal for group photos, self-portraits and filming yourself. SET UP TWO PHONES Install Remote Shutter on your controller and the free Remote Camera companion on the phone that will capture. Pair them with a QR code or connection link. No app account is required. SEE AND CONTROL YOUR SHOT • Live preview, including during video recording. • One shutter for photos or video, plus a 3- or 10-second photo timer. • Switch lenses, adjust zoom, focus, exposure and flash where supported by the camera device and mode. • Portrait and landscape layouts. KEEP RECORDING WHILE YOU STEP AWAY You can switch away from Remote Shutter while the other phone continues recording. Return to check its status or stop recording. Keep Remote Camera open on the camera phone. INTERNET OR LOCAL WI-FI Connect across networks using internet access. Nearby, select Without internet and connect both phones to the same Wi-Fi network. Local communication does not need internet; subscription setup and verification may require it. KNOW WHERE YOUR FILES ARE Original photos and videos are saved on the camera phone with permission. Enable delivery to receive copies on the controller. Open received files from the shooting screen thumbnail. Interrupted transfers can resume after reconnecting; the transfers screen shows pending files, not your entire photo library. PREMIUM SUBSCRIPTION Remote Shutter requires a weekly or yearly Premium subscription. The yearly plan offers a 3-day free trial for eligible new subscribers. Availability, local prices and eligibility are shown before purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the next renewal. Manage or cancel in your Google Play subscription settings. Restore purchases from the paywall. Two devices are required. This app controls the Remote Camera companion, not a DSLR or action camera.
