Texy is a browser that shows you only the text because Texy people like to read, not scroll ;) Open a page and Texy makes one network request, for the document itself. It loads no images, no scripts, no stylesheets, no fonts and no beacons. Pages appear almost instantly, use a fraction of the data, and carry nothing built to distract you. READ, NOT SCROLL • Full pages shown as clean, structured text: headings, lists, tables, quotes, code and links • Reader mode on demand, remembered per page • Image alt text kept as a tappable placeholder, so nothing is lost • Page Stats show what a page would have cost you • content is shown, because Texy never runs JavaScript FAST AND LIGHT • One request per page, plus one for each redirect • Parsing happens off the main thread • Small memory footprint, even with several tabs open • Works on phones and tablets YOURS TO CONTROL • Media stays hidden until you tap it. One tap loads one item, and nothing is prefetched • A built-in domain blocklist stops ad, tracker and malware domains, and drops ad placeholders from the text • Incognito tabs record no history and are never saved • Search suggestions are off until you turn them on BOOKMARKS AND HISTORY • Bookmarks with folders, and full history, both searchable • Import bookmarks from other browsers • Sync across your devices with a free Texy account, with encryption MAKE IT YOURS • Themes, vibes and bundled fonts, including the Space theme • Font scaling, TalkBack support, and localization in English, Spanish, German and French • A start page you can shape Some features (blocking, media, import, sync, themes and fonts) need a free Texy account. You'll be asked to sign in only when you use one. Texy's optional product analytics never include full addresses, searches or page content.
