This app isn't in any of our charts yet.
Look back through earlier months Reports now steps month by month. Tap the arrows beside the month name to see any earlier month's totals, savings rate, categories and biggest expenses. A new icon Purse has a new launcher icon, and the app's own artwork and balance card now match it.
Offline expense tracker that works entirely on your phone
Purse is a personal finance tracker that works entirely on your phone. There is no sign-up, no password and no account to recover. Open it and start. Your transactions are written to this device and nowhere else — not to us, not to a cloud, not to anybody. The app has no server to send them to. WHAT IT DOES • Record what you spend and earn in a couple of taps, with a note and a receipt photo if you want one. • See where the money went: a month at a glance, spending by category, your biggest expenses and how this month compares to the last. • Set budgets per category and get told before you pass them, not after. • Track money you owe and money owed to you, with part payments and a running balance. • Put money aside for savings goals and watch them fill up. • Set up the things that repeat — rent, bills, salary — and let Purse post them on the day. • Ask to be reminded about any bill, debt or goal on a day you choose. YOUR BALANCE IS YOUR MONEY Purse counts what is actually in your pocket. Borrowing does not make you richer, so money you borrow is recorded and listed but never added to your balance; paying it back takes from it. Lending works the other way round. Money set aside for a goal comes off your balance, because it is spoken for. None of it counts as spending or as income, so your reports stay about what you actually earn and spend. PRIVATE BY CONSTRUCTION, NOT BY PROMISE • No account, no login, no profile. • No cloud sync, no server, no bank connection. • No ads and no analytics. Nothing about how you spend is measured or sold. • Works in flight mode. Every screen, every figure, every chart is computed on your device. • Automatic cloud backup is switched off, so Android does not quietly copy your ledger to a Google account. Backups are a file you make and keep where you choose. • Optional PIN or fingerprint lock. The app asks for internet permission for exactly one thing: the feedback form, if you choose to use it. That message carries what you type and nothing about your money. BECAUSE IT IS ALL ON YOUR PHONE Uninstalling Purse deletes everything in it, and there is no copy anywhere else. Export a backup from More › Backup & restore before you switch phones. Purse is a notebook, not a bank. It moves no money, connects to no account, and gives no financial advice.
