About this app
Bodyweight & calisthenics tracker: front lever, planche, muscle-up. No account.
PlayThenics is a calisthenics and bodyweight workout tracker built around skills — the front lever, planche, handstand, muscle-up and pistol squat — instead of an endless set counter. Log a session in seconds. Get a rank you can actually justify, a weekly volume plan with a ceiling, and training weeks that a rest day can't break. Logging is free and unlimited, works offline, and needs no account. ▪ TRACK EVERY KIND OF SET • Reps, timed holds (front lever, L-sit, handstand) and added weight • 250+ bodyweight and equipment exercises — pull-ups, push-ups, dips, squats, rows, levers • Your next session ready on START, each set opened on what you did last time, with a +1 target beside it • Custom exercises, reusable routines, and a one-tap "repeat last session" • A rest timer that runs in the background, pings you when the set is due, and can start itself when you tick a set • Cardio logged separately, so a run never inflates your calisthenics volume • Body metrics plus sleep, energy, soreness, stress, motivation and RPE check-ins ▪ A RANK, NOT A POINT SCORE Novice to Elite across six movement patterns, derived from the reps and holds you log against published strength standards and the calisthenics progression tree, never against other people. Every rank shows the evidence behind it: "24s hold · Advanced Tuck Front Lever". No points to farm, no invented currency, nothing that inflates because you opened the app. ▪ KNOW HOW MUCH TO TRAIN • Pick the skill you are chasing at the start: it becomes weekly sets, training days and an estimated date on Home that updates from the sets you log • Never trained? Your first session is two movements, about six minutes • Weekly set bands built from MEV / MAV / MRV volume landmarks — going over the ceiling never scores higher • Readiness from your own training load and check-ins, in plain language • Build-then-deload training blocks that adapt to your recovery • Push-to-pull balance, so your shoulders keep working • Static holds for straight-arm skills: short work sets, and a signal when you are ready for the harder variation ▪ CONSISTENCY WITHOUT THE GUILT • Training weeks, not a daily streak: one session counts the week, a planned deload week holds your run, and one skip a month covers a gap • A look back at last week when a new one starts — days against plan, records, rank moves — and an optional Monday recap • A consistency calendar with intensity, rest and conditioning markers • Personal records found automatically — best set, longest hold, heaviest load • Every motivation feature can be switched off on its own. With all of them off it is still a complete tracker. ▪ NO ACCOUNT, NO CONNECTION NEEDED • Train, log and read your stats without ever signing up • Full offline operation — a basement gym, a park or a plane all work the same • Export your whole training history, or a plain-text brief of it for any AI assistant • Optional backup and second-device sync with a free account • Eight languages, light and dark themes ▪ FREE AND PRO Free: unlimited logging, the whole exercise catalog, your rank with its evidence, your goal and its weekly plan, readiness and balance, training weeks, records, every session in the calendar, sync and backup with a free account, the last 30 days in Stats, 2 routines and 5 custom exercises. Pro adds the coach (a daily briefing, mentor chat, a block builder, and your acute-to-chronic load ratio and monotony; the coach needs a free account), Stats beyond your last 30 days, and unlimited routines and custom exercises. PlayThenics Pro is an auto-renewing subscription. The price is shown in the app before you confirm, and you can cancel any time in your Google Play account, at least 24 hours before the period ends. Built for the bar athlete, the street-workout lifter and the home-gym trainee who wants to know whether this week actually moved them closer to the skill. Not a video course. Not a social feed. A training log that does the maths.
