Senior Companion: Check-In App

An "I'm OK" can mean a lot to someone who cares about you. Senior Companion makes a daily check-in simple for older adults, people living alone and the family members who support them. Open the app, tap the large "I'm OK" button, and see when your check-in has been confirmed online. Daily check-ins and caregiver services require a Family Monitoring subscription. Essential calling and everyday tools are free. Daily check-ins, front and center • A clear home screen with a large check-in button and your next check-in time. • Up to three daily check-in times, with local reminders. • See the difference between a check-in saved on your phone and one confirmed online. • Offline check-ins are saved and sync when the connection returns. Family sees them after they sync. Keep family in the loop With Family Monitoring and permission-based pairing, a chosen family member or caregiver can use their own phone to: • See received check-ins and check-in history. • See the phone's most recently reported battery level and when it was updated. • Help manage shared contacts, notes and check-in schedules. • Share family messages, photos and care tasks. Missed check-in emails When automatic alerts are on and the caregiver's email is verified, a missed scheduled check-in can send an email to that caregiver. A later check-in can send a resolved update. Up to 200 automatic alert emails per month are included. Alert emails can be set up without pairing a second phone. Large buttons for everyday tasks (free) • Call a trusted person from a large contact tile. • Prepare a help text, with a location link when available and permitted. You start the call or message. • Camera magnifier and flashlight. • Notes, important dates and weather. • Optional Home Screen Mode for simpler access to everyday apps. • Extra contacts, contact photos, custom Quick Texts and home screen customization are all free. Six languages English, German, Ukrainian, Slovak, Spanish and Polish. Sharing is your choice Choosing someone from Contacts does not give them access to your check-ins. Family sharing needs separate setup and consent. Your full address book is never uploaded. When cloud sharing is on, selected contact details and other shared information are uploaded for your paired caregiver. You can turn cloud monitoring off and request deletion of its data from the app. Location is shared only when you choose, not as a continuous feed. Important Senior Companion is a family-support and convenience app. It is not a medical device, an emergency-response service or a continuously watched monitoring service, and it does not call emergency services.
