Gym workout planner: what to do today and the weight for every set you lift.
Coach.AI is a gym workout planner that tells you what to do today and how much weight to lift on every set. After each set you say how it felt, and the plan adjusts the next one. The weight goes up when it gets easy, and every new week of your workout plan is built from what you logged.
First time at the gym?
Most people new to the gym are not afraid of the weights. They are afraid of standing in the middle of the floor with no idea what to do next. With Coach.AI you know it before you walk in: which exercises, in what order, how many sets and reps, and the weight to start with. Every exercise has a video filmed in a real gym, the muscles it works and a few short form tips.
If you are just starting out, your first week repeats the same four main exercises in every workout, so you get to know them properly before new ones show up. Week one has three workouts even if you picked more days, because three is plenty for a start. A short coach tip under each exercise says which weight to take, how many reps to aim for and what it should feel like. Pick the day and time of your first workout, and an hour before it you get a reminder of what is waiting.
Already lifting?
There are two kinds of people at the gym. Some remember exactly what they benched last week. The rest of us nod confidently and load the same weight we used a month ago. Coach.AI remembers for you. Progressive overload is worked out for each exercise on its own, from your logs, so your bench can climb faster than your squat, and that is fine.
Once you are past the beginner stage, every fourth week is lighter by design, and it comes early if you show up worn out several workouts in a row. At the end of the program there is a test day, so you see in real numbers how much stronger you got. The AI helps write your week and answers your questions, but the weights come from your own sets.
Want to lose weight?
Strength training keeps your muscle while the fat goes, so even with a weight loss goal the plan is built around the weights, with cardio at the end of each workout that grows week by week. Set a target weight, and the coach tells you roughly how many weeks it will take and checks in when you get there.
At the gym or at home
The plan works with a fully stocked gym or with a pair of dumbbells at home. You pick your training days, and your age is factored into the whole plan, because a squat at twenty and a squat at sixty are not quite the same lift. If the machine is taken or your knee has strong opinions today, you can swap the exercise mid-workout.
Your progress
After each workout you see the weight you start with next time. The progress screen shows your records, training volume, weekly streak and body weight chart, and every session stays in your workout log, so six months from now you will have proof of where it all started.
Also in the app
• Quick workouts for the days when a full session is not happening
• Custom plans, if you would rather write your own weeks
• A coach to ask when you missed a few days or feel sore, and the plan adjusts
• Cycle-aware training for women, if you want it, with the data kept on your phone
What it costs
Your first week on the plan is free, so you can train, log your sets and see how it all works. Premium unlocks the weeks that follow, custom plans, quick workouts after week one and full editing. There are monthly and annual plans, and both come with a free one-week trial for new subscribers.
Coach.AI offers training guidance, not medical advice. If something really hurts, see a doctor first and the gym second.
Happy lifting,
