Connect your Bluetooth HR monitor and train by heart rate—not a generic timer.

Best suited to individuals with a good level of cardio fitness.
Pulse is a heart rate training app built around one idea: your workout should respond to your real heart rate, not run on a fixed stopwatch.
Most interval timer apps just count down a generic clock — 3 minutes on, 1 minute off — regardless of how your body is actually responding. Pulse works differently. Every stage of your session — when to push, how long to hold, when to recover — is triggered by your heart rate genuinely crossing into the right training zone. Push until you reach your target zone, and the timer starts. Ease off, and the workout adapts. This is real heart rate zone training, not a stopwatch with a heart rate number bolted on.
HOW IT WORKS
Connect any standard Bluetooth heart rate monitor — a chest strap or armband — and Pulse calculates your personal heart rate training zones from your max heart rate, and optionally your resting heart rate for a more precise, personalized range using the Karvonen method. From there, every workout is guided live: a real-time heart rate zone display, clear on-screen instructions for every stage, and timers that are genuinely shaped by your effort, not a countdown.
A NEW KIND OF INTERVAL TRAINING
Whether you're training for VO2 max, building anaerobic capacity, working on pacing and endurance, or just trying to spend more structured time in a specific heart rate zone, Pulse turns proven interval training principles into sessions that respond to what your body is actually doing, not what a stopwatch assumes it's doing.
WHAT'S INCLUDED
• Adaptive 4x4 — four heart-rate-triggered pushes into Zone 4, helping improve your anaerobic capacity
• Sprint Sandwich - Ten 20 second all-out sprints, split by a zone 2 bridge, to help build repeatable max power
Both workouts are fully personalized to your own heart rate zones — not a generic one-size-fits-all target.
BUILT FOR STATIONARY TRAINING
Pulse is designed for use on a stationary equipment such as a spin bike, or treadmill, since you'll need to glance at your screen throughout your session. It isn't designed for outdoor running or cycling. This makes it a great fit for structured indoor training, spin sessions, and workouts where precise heart rate zone control matters.
Pulse is for guidance only and isn't a substitute for medical advice. Always listen to your body, and stop immediately if you feel unwell or experience unusual pain or discomfort.
