Mill strategy board game with 12 pieces. Play against AI or a friend offline.
Twelve Men's Morris is a classic strategy board game for 1 or 2 players. Play against the computer or a friend, fully offline. No account, no internet needed. Also known as the mill game, it is the bigger cousin of Nine Men's Morris. Twelve pieces each, twenty-four points, and diagonal lines that make more mills and leave far less room to hide. HOW TO PLAY Each player starts with twelve pieces. Take turns placing them on empty points. When all pieces are placed, slide them along the lines to empty neighbours. MAKE A MILL, TAKE A PIECE Get three of your pieces in a row, straight or diagonal, and remove one of your opponent's. Pieces inside a mill are protected, unless every piece they have left is in one. THE BOARD WITH DIAGONALS Three nested squares joined by lines, with four diagonals through the corners. Twenty ways to make a mill, which makes this a deeper strategy game than the nine-piece version. PLAY THE COMPUTER OR A FRIEND The computer thinks three turns ahead, weighing mills, threats and how much room each side has to move. Or play 2 players on one device, passing it between turns. NO FLYING, NO UNDO Down to three pieces, you still move one step at a time. Every move stands, so each one matters. The last move stays traced on the board, and a small cross shows where a piece was taken. WINNING AND DRAWING Win by taking your opponent down to two pieces, or leaving them with no move. A game is drawn if nobody can move after placing, or the same position comes up three times.
