You're at 35,000 feet, the Wi-Fi costs a fortune and the seat-back screen is off. Where are you right now, and when do you land? Flight Mode Map is an in-flight GPS map that works offline. It answers with your phone's GPS, which keeps working in airplane mode. No Wi-Fi and no account needed. Open it once before you fly and it saves the world map for you. PICK WHERE YOU'RE LANDING Search more than 3,000 airports, even offline. The app draws the remaining great-circle route, counts down the distance left and shows your ETA: the landing time in your destination's local time, with your own time underneath.
