Scan pages into a PDF, review text, and share through other apps.
ClearScan turns captured or imported pages into documents you can review, save and share. Capture a page or import an image, adjust its crop or rotation, and recognize printed text on your device. Edit the recognized text before saving. For receipts, review suggested merchant, date and total fields and correct anything the image recognition missed. Save an individual page with its reviewed text, find it in Saved, and mark it as a favorite. Export that page as an image or PDF, or export the reviewed text as a text file. For a multi-page PDF, scan several pages, add images, or reuse saved scans. Arrange up to 20 pages before creating an image-based PDF. Save it to a location you choose, or share it with an installed email or other app. You can also share the pages as JPEG images when a receiving app does not accept PDFs. Receiving apps decide which files and quantities they support. The PDF does not contain searchable OCR text. Saved document copies and recognized text stay in the app's local storage unless you choose to export or share them. Deleting a saved document removes the app's saved copy; it does not delete the original image you imported. The document scanner uses Google Play services and may need an initial component download. Text recognition happens on the device and results depend on image clarity. ClearScan does not offer cloud backup or searchable PDF text. ClearScan is free to download and supported by advertisements. Google advertising and scanning components process the service data described in the privacy policy. No app account is required.
