A minute of meditation, then one card to carry through the day.
Leela is a deck of cards, and a way of beginning the day with one of them. You start by sitting. A recorded voice guides the attention up through the seven centres, from the base to the crown, while the light on screen rises with it — about a minute, with your eyes closed. Then the deck arrives. Shuffle it with a touch, let it fan out, and take the first card your eye rests on. That card is yours for the day. Its words stay on screen whenever you open the app, and the card returns to the deck at an hour you choose — six in the morning by default — when a new one becomes available. One card, once a day. There is no way to draw twice, and that is the point. The days behind you are kept, stacked like passes, so you can look back over what you have been given. • A guided rise through the seven centres, timed to the voice • One card a day, and the same card for everyone drawing that day • The days you have kept, in a pile you can look through • An optional quiet reminder when the deck returns • Choose the hour your card is returned The cards carry the words of Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi, taken from her talks. Leela works entirely on your device. There is no account, nothing to sign up for, no advertising, and no analytics — nothing you do here is sent anywhere, because there is nowhere for it to be sent. It works with the phone offline.
