Supervisors can verify a worker manually with an ID check as a fallback. WORKS WITHOUT INTERNET Scanning runs entirely offline. Attendance data is saved to an encrypted local database on the device the instant it's captured. When the phone reconnects — minutes or weeks later — RETA One syncs everything to the backend automatically in the background, without ever interrupting the next shift's scanning. BUILT FOR THE REALITIES OF FIELD WORK • Handles multi-day or multi-week offline gaps gracefully — there's no cap on how long a device can go without syncing. • Flags exceptions (unrecognized badges, out-of-fence scans, unresolved shift gaps) for supervisor review instead of guessing. • Local data is encrypted end-to-end on-device (SQLCipher), keeping worker and attendance data protected before it ever reaches the server.
