Chores for kids: earn stars, track allowance and redeem parent-set rewards.
Chore Chart: Kids & Allowance keeps household chores, stars and parent-chosen rewards on one family device. Add a task such as putting toys away, set its star value, mark completion and record a chosen reward. Track allowance manually too. The interface is English; enter your own chore and reward names.
GIVE HOUSEHOLD JOBS A CLEAR PLACE
Create a child profile, add a chore and assign a star value. Use recurring tasks for familiar routines and one-off tasks for jobs that do not belong on every week's list. A chores rota can keep the plan easy to revisit without rebuilding it from a blank page each morning.
Name the job in words your child recognizes. The app records the chore and its completion; the parent still decides what the task involves and whether the work meets the family's expectations. This is a household record, not an automatic judge of a child's behavior.
TURN COMPLETED CHORES INTO STARS
Mark completed work and keep track of the stars earned. A shared record makes it easier to look back at which jobs were done and how a balance was built. Each child's profile keeps their tasks and totals together so siblings do not need to share one mixed list.
Stars are part of the family's chosen reward system. They are not cash, a digital currency or something that can be transferred to another account. The parent sets the values and remains in charge of how the system is used.
CHOOSE REWARDS THAT FIT YOUR FAMILY
Create rewards and decide how many stars they cost. A family activity, choosing a meal or another agreed reward can become something a child works toward. Record a redemption when the stars are used so the balance and the reward history stay understandable.
The app keeps the record; the family provides the reward. It does not unlock another app, enforce a device restriction or control screen time. Keep the reward names and rules as simple or as specific as your household needs.
RECORD ALLOWANCE OR POCKET MONEY
Set a parent-chosen rate and track the allowance associated with earned stars. The ledger shows what has been recorded, and a manual settle-up lets the parent note when an amount has been handled outside the app.
This app does not transfer money, pay a child or provide a bank account. It does not issue a payment card or connect a family's finances. Whether you call it allowance or pocket money, the app is a record of the arrangement you make and settle yourself.
LOOK BACK AT THE WEEK
Use the weekly report to review completed chores and the activity recorded for each child. The week starts on Monday. The report can provide a concrete starting point for a conversation about household jobs, without relying on everyone remembering the same details.
Review the recorded jobs and rewards together. The report shows entries, without scoring behavior or giving parenting advice.
OPTIONAL PHOTO PROOF
When a picture is useful for a task, camera proof can accompany the completion. This uses the camera on the device; it is not a photo-library import workflow. A photo is part of the record for the parent to review, not an automated check that the job was done correctly.
ONE DEVICE FOR THE FAMILY
Parents and children use the same phone or tablet to view and update the chore chart. There is no account setup, cloud dashboard or live synchronization between family devices. Keep the shared-device workflow in mind when deciding who marks work complete and who records a reward.
Backup and restore let you keep a copy of the app's saved records and bring a compatible backup back into the app. A backup file is separate from live synchronization. Choose where to store it and who can access it.
The chore board works offline and has no ads. Family records stay on the device unless you choose to share or save a backup elsewhere. Store purchases are processed separately.
