We gave AI eyes. Until now, artificial intelligence could only read what you typed. With WatchME AI it finally sees the world together with you. Point your phone's camera forward, take it with you, and the AI watches your surroundings in real time and talks to you about them out loud: rooms, objects, people, signs, colours and details you might never have noticed. WatchME AI is made for experimenting and having fun. Explore your home, a walk in the park, a museum or a market, and share what is around you with AI. Hands-free, controlled by your voice. Continuous observation: say "Watch" and look around WatchME AI does not just describe one photo: it keeps looking. It speaks when something changes (you walk into a new room, someone comes closer, something new comes into view) and stays quiet when nothing new happens. • Live mode with Google Gemini: continuous video and a natural voice, with updates in 1–2 seconds. Speak to it and ask about what is in front of you. • Photo mode with Gemini or ChatGPT: smart snapshots every 1.5–7 seconds, with updates in 2–5 seconds. Descriptions full of detail • From your point of view: "a red armchair on your right, about three steps away". • Precise names, colours and materials instead of vague categories. • Signs, notices, timetables and screens are read out once, without repeating them. • When it is not sure, it says so instead of guessing. Your voice is the remote control • "Capture": takes a photo and describes it in seconds. • "Photo 12": repeats the description of a saved photo. The last 99 photos are kept with their descriptions. • "Watch" and "Stop": start and end the continuous observation. • "Switch": swaps between Gemini and ChatGPT. • "Exit": closes WatchME. • Tap anywhere on the screen to interrupt the voice. Works in the background, always under your control WatchME AI runs as a foreground service with a permanent notification (MENU and KILL), so it keeps working while the app is minimized or the screen is off: • Microphone: while WatchME AI runs, it listens for your voice commands and questions, also in the background. In Live mode the audio goes to Gemini during the observation. • Camera: used only to take the photo you ask for, or during the observation you started, also with the screen off, until you say "Stop". • Say "Exit" or tap KILL to stop everything at once. Six languages English, Italiano, Español, Français, Deutsch and Русский. Menu, voice, voice commands and AI answers all follow your language. Smart, fast and thrifty • On-device motion and scene-change detection: the AI is asked only when the view changes, saving data and API usage. • The sharpest frame is chosen and the exposure is adjusted automatically in low light. • Lens covered or phone face down? No request is sent at all. • The best balanced AI model for your key is chosen automatically. Privacy • No account, no ads, no analytics. • Your API key stays on your phone and is excluded from backups. • Images (and, in Live mode, the audio) go only to the AI service you choose, with your key, and only while you use it. • Photos are saved in the app's own folder on your phone. Get started in a minute 1. Open WatchME AI, read how it uses the camera and the microphone, and allow them. 2. Get a free test API key from Google AI Studio (link in the app) or use your OpenAI key. 3. Paste it in the menu and say "Watch". Important WatchME AI is not designed as an assistive aid for visual impairment. It may be useful, but it does not offer the level of safety and accuracy that purpose requires: the AI can make mistakes, so never rely on it to move around, cross streets or avoid obstacles. WatchME is a product for experimenting and having fun. It needs an internet connection and your own Google Gemini or OpenAI API key; usage beyond the free quotas is billed by the provider.
