What's newin version 7.2.6
Tapping a notification now takes you straight to the story, no more blank coral screen staring back at you. Sorry about that one. There are also new games waiting on the Games page, plus a refresh to the ones you already know, and we cleaned up a few other bugs along the way. Thanks for your patience, and for reading with us.
About this app
Politically Neutral, Christ-First News
Stay informed. Stay focused on Christ. The Pour Over app gives you quick, trustworthy news summaries paired with biblical reminders—helping you engage with the world without losing peace. You’ll get new updates on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, plus a deeper dive into one audience-voted topic every Saturday in TPO Explains. The Pour Over exists to help believers respond to current events with love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Join over 1.5 million Christians who read news differently. Accessibility Service Disclosure The Pour Over uses Android's AccessibilityService API to power the optional Quiet the News feature. If you turn on Quiet the News and choose news apps to block, the service detects when a blocked app is opened during your quiet hours and returns you to your home screen. This service is used only for this app-blocking, digital wellbeing purpose. It does not read screen content, and it does not collect, store, or share any personal or sensitive data. It is off by default and only runs if you explicitly enable it in your device's Accessibility settings. You can turn it off at any time.
