The Production Shelf

The Production Shelf app is for clients of The Production Shelf, a web and app building studio. Access is by invitation from the studio. If you are not a client, you cannot create an account in the app. If you already have a project with us, the app shows you where it stands and lets you send us changes. What you can do in the app - See where your build is. Your project's phases are listed as not started, in progress, done or skipped, with a count such as "3 of 6 phases done". The studio sets the phases and the dates it shows. The app does not estimate progress or completion dates. - See what we need from you, and read the updates the studio posts. - Request a change. Describe it, add an optional link, and say whether it is a small content edit or a bigger change. Each request has a comment thread. - Review quotes. If a request is not covered by your plan, the studio sends a fixed written quote. Nothing on it starts until it is approved in the app. Only the person named as the approver on the request can approve or decline its quote. - Look at the work. See the live sites, previews, images, videos and PDFs the studio has added to your project, and the versions of each. Items updated since your last visit are marked. - Message the studio. Write about your project or a file, read the studio's replies, see when the studio has seen your message, search your messages and export them to CSV. - Read your project history. Requests, comments, quotes, approvals and phase changes are recorded in a timeline that is never edited or removed, with search, filters and CSV export. - Share a project link using your phone's share sheet. - Read offline. Your projects, progress, requests, history, file lists and messages are saved on your device after they load. Uploaded files are not saved offline. - Delete your account from Settings.
