The carbon emissions data and calculation algorithms used in Thermal-IQ are sourced from several internationally recognised road infrastructure carbon calculation tools. Asphalt-IQ has aggregated the data into convenient, relevant, emissions categories and uses standard statistical analysis principles to present the carbon emissions total. The calculation is typically completed inside 2 minutes from opening the App. The Thermal-IQ system also compares the carbon emissions of a thermal road repair against a conventional asphalt repair and illustrates the carbon saved on every project.
